Which publication is the best choice for my business?
Advertisers can choose a number of publications that reach San Francisco East Bay consumers. After clicking “Create your ad” you will be presented a list of publications as well as a map that describe our titles. Check out our media kit for more audience and product information.  

Can I choose when my ad will run?
Yes. You can create an ad schedule after you customize your ad.  

When is the deadline to submit my ad?
See the “Deadline” link at the top of the page.  

My business classification isn’t listed. Can I still advertise?
Yes. After choosing your publications, select miscellaneous from the business categories. You’ll be able to customize your ad and upload your logo in the next step.  

Can I upload my own ad?
Yes. After choosing your publications, you will be directed to select your business category or miscellaneous and the desired ad size. On the next page, a library of templates is provided and the last template allows you to upload your own ad in its place. Your ad must be in a high-res PDF format.

How do I upload my own picture or logo?
On the "Customize Your Ad" page, there is an upload box at the bottom of the page. "Upload your own picture or logo here."  

Do I get to choose where my ad is placed in the newspaper?
After your ad has been submitted, Bay Area News Group staff will strategically place ads to maximize their effectiveness.  You can indicate your desire for a preferred placement in the notes area on the scheduling page, and we will make our best effort to honor your request, however we cannot guarantee placement.  

How do I pay for my ad?
Use your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express card.  

Will I receive confirmation that my ad has been processed?
A confirmation email will be sent to the address listed for your account.  

Can I make edits to my ad mid-schedule?
Yes. Return to The AdHawk splash page, and login using your username and password. Once you are logged in you can view your saved ads. Under “Your Future Ads,” click on “list view all future ads.” Click on the ad you would like to change. If you need additional assistance, contact us.
